Military ?

After you get out of the military what of your gear do you get to keep?|||anything you were issued at boot camp is yours to keep. Anything else regarding government gear, in MOST units and bases, it is all accounted for before you check out or as you are checking out of your unit. SOMETIMES, somethings are overlooked. I managed to keep my Gortex Tops/Bottoms, my poncho and my poncho liner. Somehow, I acquired 2 sets of these during my active duty years.|||Also STD's, and rich, florid, vocabulary

|||Dont worry, I am sure Mr. Big pants "Shock and Awe" will have the answer for you....And just look at all his sources...He knows all...........|||Anything your body wore. Uniforms, boots, underwear, thermals, socks, towels, etc...|||Everything as far as clothing and anything else you may have paid for.|||you get your old uniforms and your duffle bags.... and your final check....|||Personal belongings, your uniform basically, and hopefully your life and a ticket home. Or, sometimes a trip home in a body bag with your dog tags.|||If you found a spare of something, and nobody was looking for it, you could keep it, this would be rare but still you could might even be able to keep a gas mask if somebody lost theirs without realizing it or somethin|||Typically you can only keep the clothing you wore, because the military can't re-issue that stuff out.

Some soldiers I know have been able to keep stuff from their deployment such as gortex jackets, sunglasses, and knives. It depends on how organized the unit was when they issued the gear and how strict the Supply Sergeant was about collecting it back up.|||Most guys get to keep their uniform, boots and duffle.

not to mention their artificial arms, legs, and wheelchairs.|||anything you didnt sign for
