Military??

Which branch of service would be best for me? I'm planning on majoring in science, preferably with animals. I'm an A/B student in school and I want to go far in life. I had gone to the Navy recruitment office, but I've known several people to be screwed over by the Navy...any suggestions?|||Marines is the toughest. It requires the most physical strength and is just harder then all the others

Army is alright. You can do pretty much any job in the army. There's a LOT of corruption in the army, mostly in the upper ranks

Navy is alright too. You don't get screwed over as much as you would in the army

Air Force is the easiest. It treats its soldiers the best and has the easiest training. Army people make fun of (jokingly) the air force because those are the people that just want the easy way out.

Look into each of them and look at all the pro's and con's. You can get screwed over no matter which branch of service you go into. It probably won't happen but there's a chance in each of them. Don't listen to those navy people that got screwed over because if you talk to air force, army, or marines they'll probably say that similar things happen there too. Don't worry about it and just go with whichever one seems right for you. Hope that helped a little|||navy has the largest budget|||USAF|||join ARMY they will help you out, yeah it is hard work but it will take you far or join NAVY and make sure you read before you sign, besides Navy you see alot of cool places.|||go to all five offices (yes, coast guard, I finally remembered to include you) and find out which one seems best for you. don't listen to a bunch of strangers on the Internet. get as much information as you can, so you can make an educated decision. One of the biggest problems recruiters face is overcoming misconceptions people get from movies, TV, the net, and "a friend of a friend".|||I know the Navy doesn't have a veterinarian field, but Army does... unless you wanted to get into MP/MA work, there's not much dealing directly with animals. You might be able to find a research niche.
