Military ?

I just want to know if it is possible to get military orders changed or deleted just because you do not want to go to your new duty station? we are at ft.stewart but got orders to go to ft.sill I hear that there is nothing there and we really dont want to go can we get out of that yes or no?|||NO way! Just because you dont want to go somewhere is no reason for the Army to just delete your orders!!! Dont listen to what others say about FT Sill... People told me I would HATE FT Hood and I stayed there 8 years and LOVED it!

Your in the Army now and you have to deal the hand that is given to you. You will not be able to change your orders.. go to FT Sill with an open mind and create your own opininon. You might be surprised|||I doubt it. You could could talk to the CO or something, but, it usually never works. Also, they probably won't change it just because you don't want to go there. The way is usually works is, you go where they tell you to go. But ask anyway, the worst they could say is "no".|||The only way I know to get out of orders is to deny them! Everyone in the military has the right to deny orders, but your done after that....you will not be allowed to reenlist! After your enlistments up your out! I would say to talk to your commander or rear detatchment commander if that is what you choose to do!|||sorry to tell you, but orders are orders unless you are getting close to reenlistment time, then you can probably reenlist for a specific duty station|||Ft. Sill has nothing there but there are other big cities around it. You may get out of orders you may not just like the other guy said ask and try.|||you need to talk to your CSM or BDE CSM he can get them deleted if they still need the personal.

you can also sign a dek statment but that might bit you in the butt latter

you could reup to stay where your at|||Try calling your branch manager and ask for your orders to be changed. You can deny them but don't be surprised a month later to be on the same orders.

I can't say I heard anything good about Ft. Sill but it is what you make of it. Ft. Stewart isn't that great in my opinion.

Check out this site to get info on Ft. Sill...https://onestop.army.mil/armyonestop.asp鈥?/a>|||You go where the military sends you. Their needs come before your needs. So... you go where they tell you and you make the best of it.|||lol this is funny no disrespect intended do you know how many times someone has went to a base they didnt want to go....at least 75 percent of the time..and guess what there are no give backs and no exchanges..he signed you own those orders..good luck|||No, they own you, plain and simple. They TELL you where to go and don't care if you don't want to go there because there is nothing there. You can try to put in a request to have your duty station changed but it's unlikely that it'll be granted.
