Military...................?

Does the Military accept drop outs..|||You need to get a GED..

With a GED you will have to score higher on your ASVAB the someone with a HS diploma..

If you get 15 college credits your GED becomes a HS diploma..

And even with a GED they do not have to accept you..|||high school drop outs? yes as long as you have your GED|||Very very few, need a GED and in most cases a certain number of college credits.

Vet-USAF|||Military accepts a very small percentage of GED holders and no dropouts without a GED.|||no i don't think so.|||Yes they do. but like others have said you need a GED and sometime colloge credit. Plus you have to score above average on the ASVAB.|||You will need your GED. Your recruiter will know where you can take the test. I dropped out of high school and got my GED before I enlisted. You will probably only be able to get into the Army or Navy. The Marines still can pick and choose the people they want, but it is not uncommon to get into the Corps with a GED. The Air Force is real picky.|||The Air Force does not accept drop outs, even with a GED.|||In some cases - yes. The Air Force Reserve will take a drop out - no GED as long as you score a high enough QT on the ASVAB. All services have a quota of Tier 3 and 4 they can accept and the QT drives who of those tiers will get in.

All services discourage GED and drop outs as they tend not to do well in training. Show them you mean business, stay in school and graduate!!!! If you have already dropped, get back in.... Try a Job Corps to help you meet your educational goals. It is important!|||Drop outs? no they don't. You have to have at least a GED which means you have to have graduated from high school at least one way or the other. So if you are asking for advice, well...stay in school and get the real thing and then go on and do other things or enlist. The more education you have will be a benefit to you no matter what you decide to do so go ahead and do it. Good luck to you pardner|||only from the school of hardknocks!
